Presentation ‘Ontwerpen aan de Randstad’
One Architecture develops strategies for the Randstad. Led by Yttje Feddes, Matthijs Bouw, Hilde Blank and Jan Brouwer, urban designers, architects and landscape architects explored possible layouts for the region of West-Netherlands. ‘Ontwerpen aan de Randstad 2040’ is the second issue in the series ‘Design and Politics’. This series is an initiative of VROM (Dutch ministery of housing). On the 24th of June this book will be presented in the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi) in Rotterdam. The second issue of ‘Design and Politics’ deals with designing the Randstad.. The book describes three perspectives on the future of the Randstad: Wereldstad, Kunststad and Buitenstad. Participants in the presentation debate: Jan Brouwer, Hilde Blank, Yttje Feddes, Matthijs Bouw, Henk Ovink, Bart Vink, Han Meyer, Luuk Boelens, Bernard Colenbrander, Adri Duijvestein, Ole Bouman.
