Review “An Ocean of Lemonade” in de Volkskrant
Today’s Volkskrant features a review of Pierre Bismuth’s exhibition “An Ocean of Lemonade”. One Architecture’s pop-up office is part of this exhibition in Smart Project Space. Within the exhibition, exemplifying the imagination and desires behind early industrial era utopia, we research the means of mass producing utopian buildings of past decades.
The results can be seen here: Inspired by Architecture
Newspaper AD has also visited the exhibition and interview our very own Nanna Janby. See it here…

About us
One Architecture is an Amsterdam based architecture and planning firm run by Matthijs Bouw. One Architecture uses design and strategic thinking to reduce complexity and to bring people together, in terms of process and engagement, in space and in beautiful environments. One’s work includes: architecture, urbanism, planning and more. One Architecture’s approach has resulted in successful projects which include the much discussed design for Les Halles in Paris (with OMA and XDGA) in 2004, urban plans for Gouda, Deventer and Tbilisi (Georgia) and the realization of Health Center Jozef in Deventer. Matthijs Bouw regularly publishes articles on One Architecture’s practice and ideas. Currently we are working, amongst others, on several health care buildings, a number of urban renewal projects and the Olympic Framework for the Dutch bid on the games in 2028.
