The Stiegl/ASK area in Maxglan, Salzburg, is now under construction. The plan carefully intensifies all that is existing and all that is beautiful.
Starting from the main road, the social housing is repeated by social housing, the single-family housing by single-family housing. Bétrix & Consolacio’s power station, described by them as ‘a sculpture in the landscape’, is repeated by several ‘sculptures in the landscape’. Meadow, dead-end streets and the looseness of the area are repeated. Subsequently the existing is differentiated in order to incorporate all programmatic requirements.
